Asante Kotoko is set to terminate their contract with deputy captain Emmanuel Gyamfi for his unprofessional conduct at the club.
Management of the Porcupine Warriors have decided to cancel their deal with the 24-year-old attacker for multiple violations of his contract.
The diminutive winger will be leaving the Kumasi-based as punishment for his breach of the players’ code of conduct.
The club’s decision of sacking the former Black Stars ‘B’ attackers comes following his posts and comments on social media ahead of their matches
Gyamfi has been seen actively on social media using abusive and uncultured words on Asante Kotoko fans before and after their matches for criticising his uninspiring performance in the on-going season.
He has been a key member of the Porcupine Warriors since his arrival at the club in 2016 on a free transfer after ending his stay at Wa All Stars.
His current contract with Asante Kotoko will expire.
