Goalkeeper of Asante Kotoko, Felix Annan has said in an interview that there is no truth to rumours of him leaving the club if not sorted out.
“There’s no truth in it”, he responded to rumour stating he has told the Board and the technical team that he would leave the club if not guaranteed the no.1 spot”- he noted.
He added that his target is to work and reclaim his position when football resumes but there’s no truth in those rumours.
“I’ve not met or had any meeting with any official at the club concerning those speculations”- he revealed.
“Personally I have no issues with him [Maxwell Konadu] but if he rather has issues with me then I have no idea. I would have been bold to tell him if I have problems with him and he as well has not told me he has problems with me”-he indicated.
“As far as I know, I have no problem with him but if he has with me, I really can’t tell because he has not disclosed that to me so whatever it is, he has the best answers to that because those people saying that do their analysis based on how they see it so he [Konadu] is the best person to give an explanation to them”-he said.
“He is the coach so if anything he should be bold to give that explanation when ask” – Felix Annan added
