Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima is a Brazilian business owner, president of La Liga Club Real Valladolid and a retired professional footballer who played as a striker.

Ronaldo is a multi – functional striker who brought new dimensions to his position and has been the influence for a generation of strikers that have followed.

His accolades include being named as the FIFA player of the Year three times and winning two Ballon d’or awards at age 21.

Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2002 and won the 2002-03 La Liga title, at age 23,he scored over 200 goals for his club and country.

However, after a series of knee injuries and recuperation, he became inactive for almost three years.

Ronaldo made 98 appearances for his national team Brazil and scored 62 goals becoming the second highest goal scorer for his national team, just behind Ghanaian all- time best and professional football maestro, Abedi Pelé.

Ronaldo had spells at A. C Milan and Corinthians before finally calling it quits in 2011, having suffered further injury problems.
