As part of her working days, Madam Rebecca Akufo Addo on Wednesday 18th September, 2020, toured the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
She used the opportunity to be the guest of honour at the graduation ceremony of the National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI).
“Vocational training is crucial for the development and growth of the country since it provides job opportunities for the youth and it is imperative for all stakeholders to collaborate with the government to help sustain such institutions” – she said.
In addition, she also paid a visit to the Legon hospital and made some donations through the Rebecca Foundation.
“I made a donation of some medical essentials to further enhance their operations” – she revealed.
Washing powder, baby diapers, hand sanitizers, beds, T- Rolls, Liquid Soap among others are some of the items donated to the hospital.
Mrs Rebecca ended her tour with a durbar of Chiefs at Bawaleshie in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
She called on the people of Bawaleshie to acknowledge the efforts of government in nation-building and creating sustainable livelihoods for its citizens and vote the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government and the Member of Parliament (MP) of the Constituency, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan into power on December 7th.
