Robert Lewandowski on the verge of breaking a record

Poland professional footballer, Robert Lewandowski plays as a striker for Bayern Munich and is the captain of the Poland national team.

Robert Lewandowski is renowned for his positioning, technique, finishing and is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world.

He is the second – highest behind Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus in terms of goals in a Champions League.

The striker is two goals shy of equalling Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 17 goals scored in a Champions League season.

He also holds the record for the fastest five – goal haul in any major European football league since rewards have been kept, after scoring five times in nine minutes against Wolfsburg in 2015.

Lewandowski has just one game left and if he scores more goals in their final match against PSG, he would break record held by Cristiano Ronaldo.
