Samira Bawumia Supports Seventy (70) Traders


Samira Bawumia is a Ghanaian politician, public figure and the second lady of the Republic of Ghana.

She was born on 20th August 1980 and married to the Vice President of Ghana, Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.

Through her foundation, the Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects (SEHP), has provided business support to about seventy (70) female traders under the Skills and Entrepreneurial Development Initiative.

According to her, supporting female traders forms part of SEHP’s core vision of empowering Ghanaian women through life-changing initiatives.

Being the guest speaker at the forum, she revealed that, the beneficiaries were trained in financial management, after which each received loan support to boost their various trades.

Samira Bawumia is known for her sense of fashion and have worn the hearts of Ghanaians particularly with her way and style of dressing.
