Accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Bantama, Hon. Catherine Abelema Afeku and Hon. Okyem Aboagye, Madam Ursula Owusu-Ekuful over the weekend inspected an on – going project, Rural Telephony in Nzema.
The minister used the opportunity to interacts with chiefs and people of Tumentu.
According to her, the Rural Telephony project is to provide voice and data services to unconnected communities in Ghana.
The people were excited and praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for making their long held dream come true.
They thanked their MP, Hon. Afeku for the unprecedented development they had witnessed with the on-going roads construction,establishment of their cocoa district and rural telephony among others.
The people promised to vote massively for the NPP to do more for them.
The team also visited Aiyinasie were the Imams and Muslim community also pledged their support in view of the development they had witnessed under the Npp.
