The latest edition of the 21st Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) presentation started from August 28,2020 were about thirteen (13)awards were given out.
The presentation continued yesterday August 29,2020 at the Accra International Conference Centre(AICC) with sixteen (16) different awards categories going out to deserving and hard working nominees.
The 2020 nominees jam was scheduled to take place at the Koforidua Jackson Park on April 4,2020 but due to the National Directives on Public Gathering with regards to novel Convid-19 pandemic, the event could not push through.
In view of this, the event had to be rescheduled by organisers that’s, CharterHouse productions.
For the first time in so many years,the event was held without the presence of too many attendees due to the ban on public gatherings by the president.
This year’s edition of the VGMA awards took a virtual form as audiences were given the chance to watch from the comfort of their homes on television stations such as GHone, TV3 and Joy prime and social media handles on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
The event witnessed great performances from artistes like Kidi, Adina, Efya, Epixode, King Promise, Akwaboah, Medikal among others.
Other great legends like Akosua Agyapong, Rex Omar, Amanzeba also gave out a thrilling performances last night.

Kofi Kinaata – Things fall Apart – Vodafone Most Popular Song of the year.
Ras Kukuu – Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year.
Celestine Donkor – Gospel Song Of The Year.
Kofi Kinaata – Things Fall Apart – Hi – Life song of the year.
J. Deborie – Poverty – Reggae/dancehall song of the year.
Medikal – Omo Ada – Hip – Life song if the year.
Medikal – Hi Life/Hip – Pop artiste of the year
Kofi Mole – Don’t Be Late – Hip – Hop song of the year.
Kwame Eugene – Hi – Life artiste of the year.
Dope Nation – Zanku – Afrobeat song of the year.
